YO NO SOY RARA (YNSR) LO RARO ES EL MUNDO QUE ME RODEA.
Este proyecto nace de una pregunta íntima: ¿qué fragilidades y vulnerabilidades nos atrevemos a mostrar en un mundo que dicta cómo debemos ser, desear o vincularnos?
Entre 2020 y 2023 compartí en Instagram imágenes que funcionaban como un diario público, un espacio de desnudez emocional y corporal. Stories que escapaban al algoritmo y a sus normas, convirtiéndose en una especie de pornografía de la intimidad: fragmentos que tensan los límites de lo visible, lo permitido y lo prohibido.
Con YNSR traslado ese archivo digital a lo analógico en forma de libro. Las capturas de pantalla se reorganizan para rescatarse del flujo efímero de las redes y sobrevivir a ese pasado esquizofrénico de sobreproducción y olvido. El libro, del tamaño de un teléfono y en papel ultrabrillo, conserva la estética de la pantalla pero se vuelve un objeto íntimo: un pequeño cuerpo que contiene mis imágenes, mi voz y un pedazo de mi alma.
La rara no soy yo. Lo raro es el mundo que me rodea.

I AM NOT THE WEIRDO. THE WORLD IS. (YNSR)
This project begins with an intimate question: what fragilities and vulnerabilities do we dare to reveal in a world that dictates how we should be, how we should desire, and how we should relate to one another?
Between 2020 and 2023, I shared images on Instagram that functioned as a public diary, a space of emotional and physical nakedness. Stories that slipped past the algorithm and its rules, becoming a kind of pornography of intimacy: fragments that stretch the limits of what is visible, permitted, and forbidden.
With YNSR, I translate this digital archive into an analog book. The screenshots are reorganized to rescue them from the fleeting flow of social media and allow them to survive that schizophrenic past of overproduction and oblivion. The book, the size of a phone and printed on high-gloss paper, preserves the aesthetic of the screen while becoming an intimate object: a small body containing my images, my voice, and a piece of my soul.
